Welcome to the GIRT survey reporting page. Please note that to input your survey data you will need to work in FireFox, Chrome or Edge browsers/search engines. Please do not use Safari or Explorer at this time. When you enter data it is very important that you press save on each page before pressing next. When submitting lots of images and or the video transect data, rather than press save, I recommend pressing ‘save and submit later’ and then wandering off for a cuppa tea and a chat if your upload speed is slow.
Once you start entering your survey data you can save the draft document and continue to work on entering the data until you ‘submit’ the document. Once the survey has been submitted, it will enter the workflow and be assessed by a GIRT tutor. At this stage, the information will be reviewed, and the threat assessment moderated in conjunction with you if required.
Once approved, the report will go live into production and be accessible to the public from the Adopted Wreck page on the public portion of the website. The colour icon of your adopted wreck will change to reflect your threat assessment and you will receive an email advising you that your report has been accepted and is live. A PDF of your completed report is available when you view a survey report.
